Stress reduction for college students

An American Psychological Association survey showed that US adolescents’ stress levels are now higher than adults for the first time these data have been recorded (Anderson et al. 2014)

An 8-week course for college freshman* featuring Don Miguel Ruiz’s book The Four Agreements,” “The Mindful College Student” by Eric Loucks, and elements of the MBSR program by Jon Kabat-Zinn

The college stress reduction course offers a way to mediate stress through direct experiences of stress reduction tools and practices.  We’ll also be exploring scientific studies of adolescents and mental health. “The Four Agreements” wisdom book offers tips to live an authentic and happy life.
